Lloyd Archer

Managing Director

Lloyd has been working in the construction industry at Management and Director level for the past 12 years. Lloyd has held senior positions in a Specialist Fit Out company, Main Contractor, General Main Contractor, Design & Build High End Residential and Residential Property Developer.

Lloyd is also a huge advocate of cost-effective procurement but insists on maintaining high-quality finishes to all the projects Marengo is awarded.

As Managing Director of Marengo Construction, Lloyd has been central to the development of a business culture focused on exemplary client service, employee development, and continuous improvement. Exceeding stakeholders experiences of working both with private and public sector clients, Lloyd has and will always be focused on steering the company to greater heights.

Lloyd is exceptionally proud of the business growth so far, its staff, supply chain and continues to lead the management team driving sustainable, strategic growth ensuring Marengo continues to trade successfully, profitably and forge new pathways for the company and its staff.

James Brown

Construction & Commercial Director

A member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building, and the Association of Project Management, James is the fifth generation in his family to enter the construction industry. James combines his construction expertise with vision and business acumen while maintaining his roots as an experienced chartered project and construction manager with a strong ability to lead teams effectively and ensure the successful completion of complex projects.

With over 29 years of experience in the construction industry, gained working for both regional and national Tier 1 building contractors as a Project Director, the past 10 years have been spent client-side advising developers and private clients on their construction and developer-related activities. These projects have ranged in value up to £50,000,000 and have included new build and refurbishment projects in the health, commercial, industrial, residential, leisure, hotel, and sports stadium sectors.

James has successfully secured and delivered multiple award-winning Building Schools for the Future projects, along with various academies and secondary schools. James has received industry awards for various healthcare and leisure projects he has delivered, which also led to the successful delivery of a high-profile project located within the widely acclaimed redevelopment of Battersea Power Station. The last 10 years have been spent constructing new build residential, affordable and multi-flatted developments, premium houses, and central London apartment blocks.

As the Director of Construction and Commercial at Marengo, James oversees the contractual and commercial processes, ensures safety and quality compliance, and successfully executes all development projects.

Adrian Boka

Senior Construction Site Manager

Adrian is an experienced and hands-on Site Manager with years of experience handling a variety of construction projects. His portfolio includes a 24-unit flat development in Maidenhead, a 10-unit flat development in Royston, and a variety of other residential and business properties. Adrian takes delight in contributing in all parts of site operations, guaranteeing safety, quality, and timely project completion and his approach is based on being actively involved on-site and ensuring that each job is completed to the highest standards. With great leadership and organisational abilities, Adrian is dedicated to reaching excellence in every project.

Clara Doraisamy

Senior Project Administrator

Clara boasts a 12 year career in the construction industry, during which she has navigated a diverse landscape of companies, ranging from large corporate entities to nimble independent firms. Her journey through construction has primarily been site-based, affording her invaluable insights into the intricacies of construction sites and the meticulous administration required for every project.

For Marengo Construction, Clara is absolutely essential for our construction focused project administration from inception to completion. Her responsibilities encompass a wide array of tasks, including active participation in meetings, liaising with councils, managing interactions with building control, and overseeing engagements with utility companies, including UK Power Networks and Cadent. Clara's dedication to the administrative facets of our projects ensures seamless operations across teams for successful project outcomes.

Ashruti Patel

Accounts

Our accounting department is led by Ashruti, a former finance professional in transport and logistics. Ashruti is in charge of credit control, payroll, accruals, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and month-end reporting as part of her responsibilities. Besides raising invoices, CIS returns, reconciliations of accounts, and month-end reporting, she is also responsible for ensuring Marengo maintains a steadfast approach to cash flow.

Among Ashruti's responsibilities is ensuring compliance with legislative requirements by assisting the directors and the operations teams on-site.

Ken Munoz

Social Media Management / Content Creator

Passionate social media strategist with a knack for crafting engaging content and building brand presence. Skilled in leveraging trends, analytics, and creative visuals to drive growth and foster meaningful connections. Experienced in multi-platform management, influencer collaboration, engaging content and community engagement.

Catlin Ioan

Carpentry Supervisor

We are fortunate to have Catlin as a Carpenter on our team at Marengo. Catlin brings over 15 years' experience and recently as a SMSTS qualified Site Manager. As part of our projects that are live and, on the ground, Catlin oversees some of the more complicated fit-out and refurbishment work. With an eye for detail, Catlin ensures that all of our carpentry and joinery work is installed accurately and that all projects that reach their ultimate conclusion are finished to the highest possible standard and quality. Having worked with this project team for almost a decade, Catlin is an invaluable member of the Marengo success story.

Costa Ioan

Carpenter

Costa is a self-motivated carpenter with over 10 year's experience within the trade. He has a keen eye for detail and tackles every task meticulously, ensuring projects are completed precisely to the detailed specifications. He has worked with a range of materials and is competent in both residential and commercial projects where he has demonstrated his versatility and artisanship on all his projects.
